At approximately 12:30 hours on July 13, 2007, Station 15, Engine 95, Squirt 99 & Ladder 10 were dispatched to a building fire at 185 Gibraltar Rd.  Initial calls reported the roof to be on fire and a lot of black smoke in the area.  Chief 15 (Flanagan) arrived on location and reported heavy fire in the middle of the building and workers on the roof.  15 Command was established.  Engine 15 arrived, laid a supply line, and went in service to the interior to pull ceilings.  Engine 95 (Ct. Anders) picked up Engine 15's hydrant and its crew proceeded to go in service with an apartment pack to the roof via Ladder 10's main.  Squirt 99 put their Squirt in service and extinguished the bulk of the fire.  The crews from Ladder 10 & Engine 95 also removed the roof to extinguish all fire and hot spots. 15 Command put the fire under control at 12:55 hours.  There were numerous special calls to the scene.  Ladder 95 was dispatched later in the incident and assisted with salvage & overhaul. Other units on scene included Engine 10, Squad 18, Tower 500 & Tower 88.  95 units went available at 14:22.
