        At 01:13 hours on February 7. Station 95 & Ladder 15 were dispatched to dwelling fire in the area of Moreland Ave. & N. Penn St.  Initial reports stated the caller lived at Moreland Towers and was stating there was a house on fire and could see flames coming out of the house but couldn't confirm location.  Police arrived on location at 23 N. Penn St. with a working fire.  PD initially reported a subject was inside and tried to force entry but they were unable to because of the smoke.  Chief 95 (Zollers) arrived and established 95 Command.  Command reported heavy fire 1st floor, Side B.  Engine 95 (Ct. Anders) arrived and was ordered to go in service w/ an 1 3/4" handline and a search.  Ladder 95 (Lt. Lemek) arrived moments later and provided ventilation. Engine 15 was dispatched to cover Station 95 but was almost immediately called into the scene.  Engine 15 & Ladder 15 (Deputy Chief Greenberg) arrived and assisted with ground ladders. Engine 95-1 (Lt. Gowen) laid a supply line from the hydrant at E. Moreland Ave. & N. Penn St to supply Engine 95.  Bucks Engine 90 (Lt. Mahon) supplied Engine 95-1's hydrant and pulled a 2 1/2" handline off Engine 95 to Side B.  Engine 15 also laid a supply line into the scene from the hydrant at E. Montgomery Ave. & N. Penn St. to supply to Engine 95-1. The building was evacuated at 01:27. Engine 10-2 & Ladder 10 (Lt. Winterberg) were dispatched to cover Station 95 but were redirected to the scene to assist with manpower.   Bucks Special Service 93 was the FAST Team.  95 Command reported heavy fire throughout the structure and multiple handlines in service from the exterior and to the exposure building.  Ladder 95 also placed its ladder pipe in service.  The fire was placed under control at 03:43 hours.  Companies were in service with extensive overhaul.  County and state fire marshals were requested to the scene by FM 37.  95 units went available at 07:22.  Other companies on scene included Engine 95-2, Engine 11, Ladder 100, Tower 500, Tower 8, Squad 15, Bucks Engine 62, & Bucks Engine 91.  North Penn Goodwill was also on scene providing food & drink.  Engine 95 & Ladder 95 returned to the scene later that morning to assist the fire marshals.

Driver- Lefebvre, Officer- Pearsall, Crew- Sabina, Simpson, Whittaker

 

Deputy Chief 95 (Gordon) & Asst. Chief 95 (McElroy) were also on scene.
