Ladder 95 assists Bucks Station 90 at Building Fire

On January 24, 2006 at 02:05 hours Ladder 95 was dispatched along with Bucks Station 90 for a building fire at 695 Louis Drive (Van Leer Containers). Police arrived on location and reported a fire in the incinerator. Chief 90 arrived on scene confirming fire in the incinerator and ductwork of the paint shop. Chief 90 set up Louis Command. Engine 91 arrived and laid in from the hydrant and stretched their apartment pack through side A of the building . Engine 92 arrived and supplied Engine 91, also stretching an apartment pack through side A. Ladder 90 arrived and began roof operations. Upon arrival, Ladder 95 was ordered to go to the roof and assist the crew from Ladder 90. Ladder 95 set up the main at the C/D corner. A 2 1/2 " line was stretched up Ladder 95's main with a gated wye. An 1 3/4" line was stretched from there to extinguish fire in the incinerator duct on the roof. Crews from Bucks County Squirt & Engine 93 assisted in this task. Special Service 93 provided air. The Fire was placed under control at 03:09 hours. Ladder 95 cleared the scene at 04:11. Other units assisting at the scene include Engine 83 from Bucks County and Montgomery County Ladder 15 & Engine 10-2.
