Engine 95 Assists at 2 Alarm Building Fire

       Companies were dispatched to a reported building fire at English Village Apartments, Building 12. Squad 18 arrived on location with smoke showing from the roof and went in service with an apartment pack.  Deputy 18 (Mann) arrived and established 15 Command.  Engine 7-4 arrived and laid in from the hydrant and went in service with handlines to the second floor along with Engine 15 (Ct. Johnson).  Command requested the 2nd alarm struck.  Ladder 10 (FM35-7 Gray) arrived and threw ground ladders, placed the main in service to the roof and performed vertical ventilation.  Ladder 10's crew also assisted on the interior with manpower & overhaul.  Ladder 7's crew assisted Ladder 10's crew with roof operations.  Engine 95 (Ct. Anders) provided manpower and assisted with overhaul.  The fire was placed under control within 30 minutes.  All companies were in service with extensive overhaul of four apartments.  Squad 15, Ladder 15, Engine 18-1, Ladder 18, Squirt 12, Air 62, Engine 7-3, Special Service 7, Rescue 88, Squad 100, Bucks Special Service 93 & Engine 92, Chief 15 (Flanagan), and Deputy 15 (Greenberg) were also on scene.  A total of 11 apartments were damaged.  FM39 (Fida) & FM41 were on scene investigating the cause.  Engine 95 cleared the scene at 15:05 hours.
